At Big Bird's Nest we believe that children learn best through play and by being actively involved in their learning experience. Our dedicated staff of early childhood educators plan a variety of of activities designed to facilitate the development of the physical, cognitive and social skills of students ages 2.9 to 5.
The curriculum is designed to inspire creativity. Daily activities are provided to assist students with their physical and intellectual growth.
Our teachers will encourage each child's natural curiosity about the world around them while also supporting their emerging interest in letters, numbers and other early academic skills.
Each month our students enjoy a session of music and movement led by our music specialist Elaine Kessler. We also provide a physical education class for our young students to help them develop confidence in their gross motor skills while learning healthy habits.

Parents are an important part of their child's first school experience. we welcome your visits to our classroom. Throughout the school year we offer many opportunities for parents to share their talents, skills and interests with us. We also host many "Family Events" such as Family Festival, Open House, Mother's Day Tea, and Dad's Mini Golf Night .
